Galacticraft ExtraPlanets is an expansive add-on for the popular Galacticraft mod, which allows Minecraft players to explore the solar system and beyond. While Galacticraft on its own enables space travel and planetary exploration, ExtraPlanets takes this concept further by introducing additional planets, moons, rockets, custom items, and various gameplay mechanics, expanding the intergalactic adventure for players.

With ExtraPlanets, players gain access to a broader array of celestial bodies, including not only the planets of our solar system like Mercury, Jupiter, and Neptune, but also moons and distant exoplanets, such as those in the Kepler system. The addon introduces tiered rocket systems, custom launchpads, and space stations for nearly every planet, giving players new challenges and goals as they progress through the game.

In addition to new locations, ExtraPlanets also implements unique environmental factors for each planet and moon, including different levels of gravity, temperature variations, and day-night cycles. Players must manage hazards like radiation and atmospheric pressure, requiring specialized equipment such as space suits and thermal armor. These survival elements add depth and complexity to the space exploration experience.

ExtraPlanets is also known for its extensive compatibility with other mods and features, like custom tools, ores, machines, and biomes, as well as the addition of multi-biome systems for moons and planets. With its continuous updates and compatibility with a variety of Minecraft versions, ExtraPlanets has established itself as a must-have mod for players who enjoy the thrill of exploration in Minecraft’s limitless space environment.
